The Security Watchdog is the first dedicated pre-employment screening company in the UK to make its pledge to the Information Commissioner's Office Personal Information Pledge

The Personal Information Promise was introduced by the Information Commissioner's Office in January 2009 to encourage greater commitment from senior management of UK companies to protect personal data and adhere to the rules of the UK Data Protection Act following various publicised losses of data by government departments.

Susie Thomson, Group Managing Director of The Security Watchdog states:

"The decision to undertake this promise was a natural one for The Security Watchdog. The protection of our client's data and that of their candidates is paramount in everything that we do. The investment we make in our technology, controls and training is testament to that.

Our industry is based on integrity and we are proud to be the first dedicated screening company to openly sign up to this important promise"
