As one of the UK's leading specialists in pre-employment screening and referencing, Capita is working with the ECS to provide enhanced DBS checks and Disclosure Scotland checks on their behalf.
Criminal record checks are now often required for individuals in the electrotechnical industry when they work in schools, care homes, hospitals and other establishments which are responsible for vulnerable people. Many local authority contract tenders require you to have a DBS check done. For more information concerning the scheme and the impact it will have on you, please contact us on 0114 241 3280. We will be able to assist you with the registration process.
Holders of ECS cards are able to request a separate photo identity card, which confirms their clearance by the DBS.
Candidates must complete an online DBS application form, which will ask you to provide personal information and previous address details covering the past five years. Proof of current address and verification of your identity will also be required.
How to apply
For further information on how to apply, please call 0114 241 3280 and ask for the eBulkPlus Umbrella Team quoting your ECS, JIB Card Number or your ECA Membership Number. A member of the team will explain the process to you.
