Risk Assessment and Risk Analysis

Have you ever independently tested your security operation? We do – every day, every night, every weekend… across the UK.

Comprehensive security risk assessment and risk analysis for your protection and peace of mind

How does our industry-leading Silver Fox access audit work in practice and how will it help you know that your staff, your assets, your IP, are as secure as they can be?

The Silver Fox Audit is made up of 3 stages:

Stage 1: Attempted Entry

Using non-contentious means, we test the Duty Officer’s alertness, attitude, training and understanding at the time and place of our attempted entry.

Stage2: Team Check

We check the presentation of the team at the time of attempted entry, and whether all officers on duty are carrying the appropriate ID or SIA licences.

Stage 3: Operational Check

We make a random check on two items from a menu of on-site operational disciplines such as:-

  • Management Visits
  • Key Register
  • Daily Occurrence Book
  • Incident Reports
  • On-Site Training
  • Check Calls
  • CCTV Operation

The benefits of a Silver Fox audit:

  • It genuinely tests the efficiency of your security defences on a regular basis.
  • Our independence underpins the integrity of the audit process.
  • Duty Officers in your security team remain alert and focused at all times.
  • You are able to identify the potential weaknesses in the security operation and remedy them immediately.
  • It forms part of your organisation’s wider audit remit
  • for insurance and corporate governance purposes.
  • It shows senior management that you are being proactive – rather than reactive – and that you have taken every measure to safeguard the company’s premises
  • The Silver Fox Audit programme is a cost-effective means of testing your front-line.
  • Successful participation in the Silver Fox Award Scheme* gives your security team well deserved public recognition for their on-going diligence.

*The Silver Fox Award Scheme: We have developed a best practice framework around the Silver Fox Audit Programme, which is open to corporate end-users of contract manned security, in-house security teams and ACS members alike. Framed Silver Fox certificates will be presented to any of the above subscribers which thwarts the audit team at least twice in every three attempts over a minimum of 36 audits. Additionally there will be an annual gala dinner for subscribers and their clients where the awards for outstanding achievement will be presented to both teams and individuals alike by leading figures from the security industry.

Our report and recommendations will show you just where the weaknesses are – and just what you need to do to remedy them.
