When you are invited for an interview, except in certain circumstances, the interview will be held at our Alton Head Office, which is situated at:

PLEASE NOTE: The postcode provided will take you to Lady Place Pay and Display car park and is the best place to park.
If you are driving to the interview there is a public car park behind Cross & Pillory House in Lady Place and you should allow between 1-2 hours for the interview.
If you are taking public transport there are numerous buses from the Farnham and Winchester areas, or you will find Alton train station just 5 minutes walk from our offices.
Things to bring to the interview
When you arrive at your interview we will require a valid identification document such as a passport or driving licence and proof of address. Please bring original copies. If you are running late please let us know by contacting your interviewer. We look forward to meeting you.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How long does it take for my screening to be completed?
A: We try and complete checks fully within the first 4 weeks of induction.
Q: When do I get paid?
A: Your salary is paid into your bank account on the 27th of each month.
Q: How long will the induction take?
A: 5 days.
Q: What breaks will I get?
A: 1 hour lunch with two 10 minute breaks, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Q: What promotions prospects will there be?
A: At Security Watchdog we always try and promote from within and there will always be opportunities to expand your knowledge and develop your training.
Q: What is the holiday entitlement?
A: You are entitled to 23 days holiday per year plus statutory days. This increases to 25 days after 2 years and 27 days after 5 years of service.
Q: How long is the probation period?
A: Normally the probation period is 6 months.
Q: What happens if I call in sick?
A: You are not entitled to sick pay during your probation period (see above), thereafter if you are sick you will qualify for sick pay. You must call in and let us know if you are too ill to work.
Q: Is there any parking at or near the office?
A: There is a public car park immediately behind the head office at Alton, but no parking at the office itself.
Q: Is there a train station nearby?
A: Our Alton office is within 5-10 minutes walking distance from mainline stations.
Q: If I am late for work what do I do?
A: There are times when circumstances beyond your control make you late. If this happens make sure to phone. DO NOT phone if you are driving - pull over and make the call safely. This process will be explained to you.
