Airside Security Screening

Airside security screening is crucial for passenger, airport staff and National Security. We undertake all the required checks for the issuing of an airside security pass as requested by each individual airport authority and to meet the strict security criteria defined by the Aviation and Maritime Security Act 1990.

Security Watchdog undertake airside security screening on behalf of several major airlines and airport groups. We are fully compliant with the Department for Transport (DfT) and Airport Operators regulations, covering screening services for all airline crew and airside operations staff at all UK International & Regional Airports.

In order to qualify for an airside pass staff must undergo the following checks: -

Proof of ID
Proof of address
Right-to Work check
Basic Disclosure - criminal record check (click here for details).
Qualifications check where appropriate
5 year Work Activity
5 year verification of employment or self-employment.
Gap Analysis Checks: Any gaps in employment of over 28 days (eg periods of unemployment, voluntary work, travel overseas etc) must be explained and verified. 

Our airside screening services are more cost effective, faster and more consistently compliant than screening undertaken in-house. We operate dedicated airside screening teams and packages can be tailored to each individual client's requirements.

Candidates can conveniently complete the screening online using our renowned VOLTi3 and eBulkPlus software and our fully trained operatives will do the rest, including liaising with the airport ID centres and covering any anomalies in a candidate's application. As a client you can login and check the progress of each individual candidate, or group of candidates.
