Farewell to a Watchdog legend

Ewan-Tweedie.jpg

Following a career of over 15 years with Security Watchdog, our Group Risk and QA Director Ewan Tweedie has decided the time is right for a career change outside the industry.

Ewan has been instrumental in supporting the growth of Security Watchdog into the market leader it is today and he will be sorely missed by us all. He will be leaving at the end of August and I am sure you all join me in thanking Ewan for everything he has done for us and in wishing him and his lovely family every success in the future.

I am pleased to announce that Rob Allinson is stepping into the role of Chief Risk and Business Assurance Officer, taking over Ewan’s responsibilities and reporting directly to me.  He will be supported by Dan Whitley with the new title of Business Assurance Executive.  They will own:

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Product Development
  • Risk Management & Register
  • Capita and Client Audits including ISO 27001 Audits
  • GDPR and Data Protection
  • Trade Body Representation
  • ID/RTW and Immigration services
  • The Advisory Bureau (TAB) suite of products including due diligence

These roles will complement - but sit apart from - the role of Hannah Collins in her new title of Compliance Manager.  As you are aware, Hannah and her team are responsible for screening compliance and Hannah reports directly into Ian Ross, Operations Director.

It also gives me great pleasure to welcome back Dan Don to the business as Client Relationship Manager.  Dan left SW to pursue a career in the recruitment world, and has returned bringing with him sales experience he gained in the year he’s been away.  We’re all looking forward to working with Dan again!
