Recycling Facts in the UK

Recycling is a great thing we can do to leave a positive footprint on the world. It is important for our natural environment, for our health and it is beneficial for the economy as well.

Unfortunately, we produce more and more rubbish each day, many of which is not recyclable, and it takes years and even centuries for those to decompose! This leads to emission of Methane, a greenhouse gas which affects the natural environment and all living creatures.

Check out the below infographic for some interesting facts about recycling and how the UK is doing compared to other countries. You can also use this as a guide to what you can recycle.

Here at Security Watchdog we would also like to ask for your help in recycling correctly. You will soon see posters with guidance about what can go in which bin. Please help us recycle and reduce the amount of rubbish going to landfill!
