Pay per candidate screening packages explained – we have a new offering of pay as you go screening packages

We are pleased to announce that Security Watchdog now offers pay-per-candidate screening packages to provide flexibility and convenience to those employers wishing to screen a single candidate prior to employment, allowing employers to pay-as-you-go with an appropriate package.

We provide five separate screening packages to suit several situations; the BPSS, SM&CR as well as low, medium and high-risk packages.

The BPSS is required for all individuals working within government departments and helps protect national security while reducing the risk of illegal workers. The package includes an identity check, a Right to Work check – necessary to prove the candidate has the legal right to work in the UK, a Basic Disclosure criminal records check – includes information of any unspent convictions, and 3 years of employment history.

Our low-risk package offers peace of mind for employers to candidates for low-risk roles, and includes an ID check, a Right to Work check, current address/residency verification, criminal record Basic Disclosure and a financial probity check – which identifies any County Court Judgements (CCJs) or bankruptcies held.

The medium risk package is for candidates with a higher level of responsibility or access to more sensitive information and includes an identity check, a Right to Work check, a financial probity check, 3 years of address and employment history, a criminal record Basic Disclosure and our market leading social media check, which is based on the 7 key index measures of online behaviour.

Our high risk package is suitable for screening candidates who require the highest level of screening and includes an identity check, a Right to Work check, a financial probity check, 5 years of employment and address history, social media check, the criminal record Basic Disclosure, a professional qualification check - which confirms that qualifications are up to date and that any memberships are in good standing, and a directorship check – which provides information on any current or past directorships.
